Rainbows are the youngest section in Girlguiding!

Aged between 5 – 7 years old and wearing a red and pale blue uniform or a tabard they are a very lively bunch!  Units are run by Leaders who are trained volunteers for Girlguiding UK. We have 50 Rainbow Units in WYN with approx 600 Rainbows who have made their Rainbow Promise.

Rainbows have their own specialized program called the Rainbow Jigsaw. Through it’s 4 main areas LOVE LAUGH LOOK LEARN their meetings are packed with games, crafts, singing, making new friends and they can even do sleepovers!

Rainbows Units can also complete badges from themed Rainbow Roundabouts and each girl has a chance to help decide the things they all do in their meetings.
