WYNCHES house and / or site warden – could you spare some time to warden groups in and out of the house (usually Friday evenings and Sunday afternoons) on weekends you are available.
Service Crew WYNCHES:
Help with jobs around the site and house such as pond clearing, woodpile sorting and chopping wood, tilling the pond area in readiness for planting a wildflower area, repairing grass sledges, painting and decorating.
Friends of WYNCHES:
Help with fund raising for the development and ongoing care of WYNCHES.
You can be a mentor even if you have just qualified as a leader – let’s face it, you have just done the training and are in a good position to help someone else through.
First Response Trainers:
Did you know you don’t need to be a trainer to provide 1st Response Training for Guiding? You need to hold a 16 hour First Response training qualification, attend a 1 day 'Training 1st Response' training and then will need to undertake training refreshers as necessary. Could you join the team?
Advisers and Commissioners:
Enjoy walking? Why not take a look at the Walking Qualification? Learn to make an adventure out of walking, take your unit out and about or help with promoting walking in your District or Division.
